Civil Ceremony ...
Due to the change in the marriage act in 1995 and in line with our licence, you may now hold your Civil Marriage Ceremony at the
Bridge Hotel.
Select the appropriate suite to suit your guest list from one
of three licensed rooms:
The galleried Restaurant
Steeped in history and charm, seating from 40 to 100 guests.
Here the bride/groom can make their entrance over the bridge, descend the wrought iron staircase and proceed up the aisle to meet there future partner.
The Elizabeth Suite
Suitable for the more intimate wedding.
The Whiteside Suite
Overlooks the River Bollin.
Call our wedding co-ordinator on 01625 829326 to make arrangements for the ceremony and reception. Then contact the Superintendent Registrar of the district of Macclesfield on 01625 374040 – you can book the ceremony 24 months in advance. On the day of your ceremony it will be necessary for two registrars to attend, one to conduct the ceremony and the second to register the Civil Ceromony.
Registrars will attend Civil Ceremonies seven days a week using the following time slots – 10.00am, 12.00am, 2.00pm & 4.00pm. Once you have confirmed with the registrar, call our wedding co-ordinator to finalise the details at the Bridge. |
