Cheshire Life
Wedding of the Year 2002

Congratulations

We are pleased to announce this year's winners of the Cheshire Life Wedding & Honeymoon of the Year, Nick Underwood and Angela Lewis of Macclesfield, Cheshire. They entered the competition, answering all of the relevant questions correctly and their tiebreaker read: "As we cross this Bridge into marriage, we cannot imagine a better way to start our Cheshire Life together." Being one of 8 finalists interviewed by a panel of 9 judges, Nick, an airline pilot and Angela, an air hostess (known in their trade as Mr & Mrs Monarch) had very stiff competition and quite a daunting experience, but flew through to win in the end. They got married at Gawsworth Church on 27th May 2002 (just 41 days after they were announced the winners) had their wedding reception in Benedict's Restaurant at the Bridge Hotel and honeymoon with Wild Africa Safaris. May we wish them both the best for the future!
